Drake Is Releasing a New Single

Get ready for some new Drake, as the 6 God has announced he’s about to release a new single.

On Thursday (April 5), Drake popped up at Rebel in Toronto for Majid Jordan’s show, where he announced a new single will arrive Friday night.

“The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album,” Drake told the hometown crowd. “I got a new single dropping tomorrow night too, just in case you got some free time.”

At this point, it’s unclear what single Drake will be releasing Friday night. More importantly perhaps, it’s also unclear when we’ll get this new album Drake is now finishing right now. So of course, stay tuned.

Drake’s last release was the two-song single Scary Hours, which featured the record-breaking “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”
