(Sam Nar\/CBC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Canada has quietly lifted a blanket advisory against all non-essential travel outside the country which had been in place since the pandemic was declared in March 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the previous guidelines, the government advised all travellers, regardless of vaccination status, to\u00a0avoid non-essential international travel.<\/p>\n<section id=\"inread-wrapper-id-56276077\"><\/section>\n<p>The advisories for each country have now reverted to the four levels\u00a0that existed prior to\u00a0the pandemic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exercise normal security precautions.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise a high degree of caution.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid non-essential travel.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid all travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new advisories\u00a0can be found on the government&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travelling\/advisories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Travel Advice and Advisory website<\/a>.
