Toronto police have charged a teen with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman found at a home\u00a0in the area of Oakwood and St. Clair avenues.<\/p>\n
Police say the teen was located and arrested in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n Investigators say the body had been at the home “for a while,” but are trying to determine exactly how long it had been there before being discovered.<\/p>\n The 54-year-old victim was found on Monday when officers conducted a “well-being check” at the home. The coroner deemed the death suspicious at the time and ordered an autopsy.<\/p>\n The accused cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.<\/p>\n The woman’s death marks Toronto’s fifth homicide of the year.<\/p>\n CBC<\/p>\n
