{"id":27756,"date":"2019-02-26T10:19:30","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T15:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mileniostadium.com\/?p=27756"},"modified":"2019-02-26T10:19:30","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T15:19:30","slug":"more-snow-as-much-as-15-cm-on-the-way-for-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mileniostadium.com\/local\/gta\/more-snow-as-much-as-15-cm-on-the-way-for-toronto\/","title":{"rendered":"More snow, as much as 15 cm, on the way for Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A special weather statement is in effect for Toronto, as well as parts of Halton and Peel regions, calling for yet another dumping of snow.<\/p>\n<p>A low-pressure system from the U.S. Midwest will move through the area, with snow expected to start on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Canada says between 10 and 15 cm could fall on parts of southern Ontario on Wednesday, with higher amounts possible along the shores of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.<\/p>\n<p>The Wednesday afternoon commute &#8220;may be affected,&#8221; the weather statement says.<\/p>\n<p>The snowfall comes amid a bit of a deep freeze in the city. While Toronto&#8217;s medical officer of health cancelled an extreme cold warning early Tuesday, temperatures were still frigid.<\/p>\n<p>As of 7 a.m., the temperature in the city was -10 C, but felt more like -17 with the wind.
