A new Canadian immigration stream has been launched by the government of Ontario. The Employer Job Offer In-Demand Skills Stream, which was announced on August 16 and opened the same day, is a pilot for workers in high-demand occupations with a job offer in Ontario.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Employer Job Offer In-Demand Skills Stream is part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), which allows Ontario to nominate individuals for immigration to Canada based on criteria set by the province.<\/p>\n

The current list of occupations includes occupations in the agriculture and construction sectors.<\/p>\n

Applicants can only apply if they meet all eligibility criteria, have received a permanent, full-time job offer from an Ontario employer, and have a completed and signed Employer Form to upload as part of the application package.<\/p>\n

The job offer must be in one of the following eligible occupations in National Occupation Classification (NOC) Skill Level C or D.<\/p>\n
