A whole bunch of stars expected to attend TIFF 2018

Is that Matthew McConaughey grabbing a latte at an upscale coffee shop in Yorkville? It could be.

The Toronto International Film Festival once again looks to light up downtown streets with high-wattage Hollywood star power.

Julia Roberts, Robert Redford, Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Salma Hayek, Jude Law, Colin Farrell, Viola Davis, Julianne Moore and Hilary Swank are among the marquee names expected to be in the city during TIFF next month.

Bradley Cooper is set to fly in to screen his hotly anticipated directorial debut “A Star is Born” alongside co-star Lady Gaga at the festival.

Ryan Gosling is also bound to return to his home province to present his turn as astronaut Neil Armstrong in “First Man,” with director Damien Chazelle, whose previous film, “La La Land” made a splash at last year’s fest.

Chazelle could cross paths with “If Beale Street Could Talk” director Barry Jenkins, whose film “Moonlight” beat out “La La Land” for the best-picture Oscar after a famous onstage mixup last year.

Also on the guest list are Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Joaquin Phoenix, Keira Knightley, Jamie Lee Curtis, Patricia Clarkson, Christian Slater, Sienna Miller, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Shannon, Kristen Stewart and Billy Bob Thornton.

Star-watchers should keep an eye for Hollywood power couples including Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde, actor-director spouses Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson as well as Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, who will co-star in “Everybody Knows.”

Celebrity siblings Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal are also expected to attend the fest.

Hot talents like Oscar Isaac, Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet are due to grace the red carpet.

Comedic actors Steve Carell, Melissa McCarthy and Jonah Hill are set to show off their dramatic chops, while TV stars like Kit Harington, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Taylor Schilling, Riz Ahmed, Aaron Paul and Christina Hendricks will promote their new big-screen projects.
