Pump up the volume

It took long enough, but somebody finally took the plunge and told the world exactly what it has been thinking for a good long time: It’s time to cut the umbilical cord connecting us to the USA.

The main reason that our leaders don’t look them in the eye as they rant and lie their way around the schoolyard, is money. The very thought of a slowdown in economic numbers is enough to let slide the fact that they’re cowering to a lunatic. In Davos, he sounded like he was at a White House press conference, speaking to his MAGA faithful, waving and then tossing aside his biblical list of ‘accomplishments’. Meanwhile, in the audience, hundreds of the world’s top political leaders and heads of state sat there and listened. But things were different.

A few days earlier, Canadian PM, Mark Carney had stepped up, and surprising everyone by not only admitting that there is a World Order, but that it was not coming back, adding that this break form “American hegemony” and “great powers” can be built something “better, stronger and more just.”.

He also accused the latter of “using economic integration as weapons”. We knew exactly who he was speaking to, without naming him. Now that was a surprise! The Canadian Prime Minister! An ex-banker! Not only did he get a standing ovation, (a great sign of solidarity), but leaders and statesmen from all corners complemented him on his clarity and candor. Obviously, DT is going to sling out a few doses of BS, to see if he can stain this push forward at Davos, but that’s quickly becoming ‘so last week’, that only the American press will be trumpeting his words, (no pun intended).

This push back showed immediate results; Greenland was suddenly being spared the wrath of DT, although this week I did read something alluding to DT, stating Canada “was next”. Whatever. We need to keep pushing back. His propaganda machine is relentless, and he’ll do anything to distract his followers from the fact that those pesky Epstein files are more than a month overdue in congress, a major violation of the law. The handful of redacted photos that have been released are mostly of Bill Clinton! If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does. Clearly, it’s not the Americans who are going to take him down any time soon.

The White House is busy trying to incite civil disobedience, while those who can see clearly are warning of falling into that quagmire.

Most are calling for restraint, knowing full well that DT would adore an excuse to install Marshall Law. This way he doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want, including allowing the elections in November, where he knows he’ll lose the house and probably the Senate majority. His hands will be ‘cut off’; he and all of his staff of tentacles will go down, we hope. It sure would bring some temporary sunshine for the world, which will continue to have its problems, but this is one major disease we have to vaccinate against.
