Meandering

If I may, I’m going to ask you to pretend for a few minutes. Pretend that the Earth is a different place. Still the same billions of people, going about their daily tasks, only the atmosphere is appeasing, even in its routine. Over the millennia, this Earth took a path of cooperation as a means of growth and prosperity. There is no politics, there is no competition.

All have purpose, and all are content. It’s not what we’ve been fed as ‘paradise’ on our Earth, used against us as a carrot on the end of a stick. Something to strive for, to earn, rather than deserve. On that Earth, people evolve by keeping themselves tuned in to their surroundings. There is no slavery, no competition. Money lacks great importance here because no one is in need. Having more cash than someone else was of no advantage.

Whatever the people need, they build, they invent, they share. It’s not perfect on this Earth, because perfection is another of those carrots I mentioned before. There are those who still need assistance, but they get it, without question, or blame. This assistance comes from those who decided that their purpose is to help, and they can do this without worrying about making ends meet. It’s Earth, without borders or kings.

Still awake? I guess this could be a dream for some, or a nightmare for others, (although I fail to see why), but I truly believe it could have happened this way. Surely, I would not have been as simplistic as I depicted, mainly because we as a species can be so volatile and violent, especially when in fear. And I would be remiss if I ignored the ease with which we allow ourselves to be corralled. But if thinking and education for everyone could have persevered, we may well have been living greater lives today. Even as I’m writing this, my cynicism is pushing to break through, but I know that’s only because I live on this Earth. Our reality today could have had many different scenarios. If Quantum physics can someday prove it, people of the future may be able to see them. Who knows? Anything is possible, provided we’re still around.

The fact is, we only know this reality, and in order to attain the aforementioned other, it will take more time than anyone can imagine, but it is only time. We have to stop the surprisingly few people that are running this show. We have to collectively suck it up and admit we’ve been looking the other way for too long, buying the lies we’ve been fed. Now we are allowing them to punch holes in thje future for our children, and their children. These surprisingly few people are making a mockery of all of us, right to our faces. Look at Musk, he’s having a spat with that other tool who owns Ryanair. He’s angry, so he boasts that maybe he should just buy the company. He jokes about having that kind of power. This is what happens when one individual has so much money. DT wants to forcibly buy Greenland. Everything is a commodity to these people; they don’t, for a minute, consider us. To them, we are tools to use as required. But we keep them rich, powerful, fancy free. It’s about time we put our tools in the same box and start fixing this.
