Man in 70s dead after Etobicoke motorcycle collision

A man believed to be in his 70s has died after a motorcycle crash in Etobicoke, according to emergency services.

Toronto police got the call just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the crash, which occurred in the area of North Queen Street and The Queensway, investigators said.

They added the man who died was driving the motorcycle and that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

The intersection and a portion of The Queensway are closed for a police investigation. It’s unclear when the roadway will reopen and officers are advising motorists to expect delays in the area.
