2026 não começa com frases seguras. Começa com murros na mesa. Com a certeza incómoda de que já não dá para fingir que está tudo bem, nem para continuar a assistir em silêncio enquanto o futuro se decide por outros. Este é um texto para acordar. Para lembrar que comunidade não é decoração, é ação; que pensar não é perigo, é dever; e que quem não entra na conversa acaba sempre por sair da história.

Começar um novo ano, não é apenas virar calendário. Deve ser um gesto de obrigar a olhar para dentro — para quem somos, para a comunidade que temos sido e para aquela que ainda ousamos querer ser. É momento de verdade, onde precisamos de assumir caminhos.

2026 não chega com promessas fáceis nem com milagres embalados em palavras bonitas. Chega cru, como o tempo em que vivemos. Chega num mundo inquieto, em guerra, com medo, cansado, muitas vezes desconfiado de quem pensa, de quem questiona, de quem não aceita respostas simples para problemas complexos. Que não adormece consciências, mas as chama à responsabilidade. Que faculta liberdade com originalidade e irreverência, colocando — sempre que necessário — o dedo na ferida. Porque ignorar a ferida nunca a curou. Porque o silêncio nunca foi sinónimo de paz. Porque pensar incomoda, mas faz avançar.

Os narizes de cera da comunidade podem dormir descansados. Nunca perderão os seus anéis — já roçados, já sem brilho. Não é isso que está em causa. O que está em causa é outra coisa, bem maior: quebrar barreiras invisíveis, romper silêncios herdados, desfazer divisões ou uniões artificiais e transformar a verdadeira união numa prática diária, não apenas numa palavra bonita usada em datas solenes.

Todos os nossos canais, toda a nossa equipa, bem liderada e consciente da sua responsabilidade, estão prontos para esse caminho. Prontos para ouvir com atenção e falar com clareza. Para dar espaço à diversidade de pensamento e exigir honestidade intelectual. Para celebrar conquistas, dar voz ao que merece destaque e não desviar o olhar quando surgem feridas que precisam de ser expostas.

2026 tem de ser o ano em que cada vez mais — e não apenas alguns — percebam que só juntos tudo faz sentido. Que a fragmentação não nos torna mais livres, apenas mais frágeis. Que o isolamento empobrece a comunidade e enfraquece o futuro. Que juntos não vamos morrer; separados, morremos mais depressa — comunitariamente falando. 2026 does not begin with reassuring phrases. It begins with fists pounding on the table. With the uncomfortable certainty that we can no longer pretend everything is fine, nor continue to watch in silence while the future is decided by others. These words are a wake-up call. A reminder that community is not decoration — it is action; that thinking is not dangerous — it is a duty; and that those who stay out of the conversation inevitably end up written out of history. Starting a new year is not merely turning a page on the calendar. It should be an act of forcing ourselves to look inward — at who we are, the community we have been, and the one we still dare to imagine. It is a moment of truth, one that demands we take responsibility for the paths we choose.

2026 does not arrive with easy promises or miracles wrapped in pretty words. It arrives raw, like the times we live in. It arrives in a restless world, at war, afraid, exhausted, and often suspicious of those who think, who question, who refuse simple answers to complex problems. The clay feet of our society tremble before free thought — but they shouldn’t. Thinking does not divide. Thinking clarifies. Thinking protects us from stagnation. Questioning does not destroy. In 2026, MDC Group, our special group, will continue to be the anchor and pillar of community communication. Communication that doesn’t lull you to sleep, but awakens you. That doesn’t numb consciences, but calls them to responsibility. That offers freedom with originality and irreverence, placing — whenever necessary — a finger on the wound. Because ignoring a wound has never healed it. Because silence has never meant peace. Because thinking may be uncomfortable, but it moves us forward.

The hollow figures of the community can sleep soundly. They will never lose their rings—already worn, already lackluster. That is not what is at stake. What is at stake is something far greater: breaking invisible barriers, shattering inherited silences, undoing artificial divisions or alliances, and transforming true unity into a daily practice — not just a pretty word reserved for solemn occasions.
