A 21 de outubro de 2019, será pedido aos eleitores canadianos para elegerem um novo primeiro-ministro, que irá guiar as futuras relações do Canadá.
Considerando o grupo de candidatos, a eleição de 2019 é possivelmente uma das mais estranhas da história moderna no Canadá.

• Justin Trudeau – Um promotor egocêntrico cuja melhor qualidade é criar e esconder escândalos para benefício do Canadá. Não manteve a maioria das promessas feitas durante a eleição anterior, incluindo equilibrar o orçamento. O medo de falar sobre a política de Ontário parece ser a sua principal linha.
• Andrew Scheer – Tem a personalidade de quem procura uma dose de carisma. Sem ligação aos eleitores e a sua associação a Doug Ford irão impedi-lo de vencer, devido às greves das escolas.
• Jagmeet Singh – Sugeriu que iria apenas defender os interesses dos pobres e dos indivíduos sem privilégios. Suponho que as pessoas ricas e os indivíduos privilegiados não façam parte deste país.
• Maxime Bernier – Não gosta de imigração nem de imigrantes. Talvez ele devesse entender quem é que construiu este país. Deveria tornar-se Chefe de Gabinete de Donald Trump. E a luta contra o ambiente não ajuda, no confronto com Greta Thunberg, de 16 anos.
• Elizabeth May – Adora árvores com as suas cores verdes. O partido tem tantas hipóteses de ganhar como uma certa equipa portuguesa de futebol.
• Yves-François Blanchet – Ainda a aprender a sorrir e a aceitar que o Quebec pensava que o partido já não existia.

Os leitores do Milénio Stadium podem não reconhecer alguns destes nomes, mas compreendam que estas pessoas existem e podem bater à sua porta para que lhes dê o seu voto.
Atualmente, os Liberais e os Conservadores estão numa corrida renhida no que diz respeito à percentagem de aprovação, contudo, se a eleição fosse para acontecer hoje, os resultados demonstrariam a minoria para os Liberais.

A campanha do NDP tem sido um desastre e alguns preveem que perderão a maioria dos seus assentos para os Liberais com o Block Quebecois em 3º e os Verdes em 4º.
Quando as campanhas de marketing começarem, o temperamento desta eleição vai-se tornar desagradável. A crueldade é o resultado do facto de nenhum dos candidatos ser capaz de separar o negativismo que incorpora os líderes partidários e os eleitores exigentes reparam nestas deficiências, mas no meio da vulgaridade, ganha o menos medíocre.

Todos os partidos irão atirar o dinheiro que não têm ao país e irão fazer promessas que não vão cumprir. Estaremos a lutar com os nossos instintos para alcançar um fim onde o nosso voto conta. No final, devido à qualidade dos candidatos, poderemos sentir-nos frustrados pelo nosso voto ter sido desperdiçado.

Trudeau sugeriu que irá apenas participar em dois debates, roubando a possibilidade de os Canadianos ouvirem todas as posições e visões políticas. Talvez um combate de boxe resolvesse melhor as coisas, assim como Trudeau fez em 2012 contra Patrick Brazeau. Concluindo, todos os candidatos irão dizer-lhe o que quer ouvir, pois eles percebem que os eleitores têm memória curta. Nenhum dos candidatos é bom o suficiente para ser nosso primeiro-ministro, mas espero que um se destaque dos restantes, para que o mau gosto não perdure por muito tempo.

Vamos ouvir as suas verdades e tomar uma decisão instruída visto que o país merece respeito e integridade.

2019 Elections

On October 21st, 2019, Canadian voters will be asked to elect a new Prime Minister who will guide the future affairs of Canada.
The 2019 elections are possibly one of the oddest in modern history in Canada because of the group running for office.

• Justin Trudeau – a self-centered promoter whose best quality is to create and hide scandals for the benefit of Canada. Has not kept many of the promises from the last elections, including balancing the budget. Gear mongering about Ontario politics appears to be his main platform.
• Andrew Scheer – Has the personality of someone looking for a dose of charisma. Non-connectivity with the voters and association with Doug Ford will prevent him winning due to school strikes.
• Jagmeet Singh – He suggested that he will only defend the interests of the poor and underprivileges people. I guess rich and privileged individuals are not part of this country.
• Maxime Bernier – Doesn’t like immigration or immigrants. Perhaps he doesn’t understand who built this country. Should become Chief of Staff for Donald Trump. Fighting 16-year-old Greta Thunberg about the environment doesn’t help.
• Elizabeth May – Loves trees and with its green color, the party has as much chance of winning as a certain Portuguese soccer team.
• Yves-François Blanchet – Still learning to smile and accept that Quebec thought the party no longer existed.

The readers of Milénio Stadium may not recognize the names of some but understand that these people exist and may be knocking on your door to get your vote.

Currently the Liberals and Conservatives are running neck to neck in approval percentage, however, if an election was held today, the results would show a minority for the Liberals.

The NDP campaign has been a disaster and some predict they will lose most of their seats to the Liberals with the Block Quebecois in 3rd and Green in fourth.

The temperament of this election will become nasty when the marketing of the campaign begins. The viciousness is the result of none of the candidates being unable to separate from negativism that embodies the party leaders and discerning voters are noticing these deficiencies but in the middle of commonness, the least mediocre usually wins.
All parties will be throwing money they don’t have at the country and make promises they won’t keep. We will be fighting with our instincts to try and reach an ending where our vote may count. In the end because of the quality of the candidates we may feel that our vote was wasted.

Trudeau has suggested that he will only participate in two debates, robbing Canadians of hearing from all political positions and views. Perhaps a boxing match would better settle things as Trudeau did in 2012 against Patrick Brazeau. In the end, all candidates will tell you what they want to hear as they understand that voters have short memories. None of the candidates are good enough to be your Prime Minister, but hopefully one will rise above the rest, so the bad taste doesn’t linger too long.

Let’s listen to their truths and make an educated decision as the country deserves some respect and integrity.
