Com o Ano Novo a começar, temos a tendência de olhar para o mundo de novo, com a esperança de que melhores dias virão. Consultei a minha bola de cristal para ver se o mundo iria sobreviver em 2020 e proporcionar a qualidade de vida que as populações esperam.

Então aqui vos deixo as minhas previsões para 2020:

A comunidade lusófona no Canadá vai abraçar o projeto Magellan e irá contribuir com $15 milhões dólares para a sua construção.
Donald Trump não será destituído e irá ganhar a próxima eleição.
Peter Mackay será o próximo líder do Partido Conservador Progressista Federal e vai bater Trudeau na próxima eleição federal.
Os robôs continuarão a evoluir e substituirão os manifestantes em Hong Kong.
Para reduzir os resíduos ambientais as roupas passarão a ser comestíveis.
Elon Musk vai inventar um tubo longo que nos ligará à lua e que poderemos subir para arrecadar dinheiro para caridade.
Por causa do Bitcoin e outras moedas, todos serão ricos, pois ninguém precisará de dinheiro real.
Pinto da Costa será eleito o primeiro presidente do novo país de Marte e levará para lá a sua equipa de futebol, para se tornar campeão novamente.
As bolas de ouro atribuídas pela FIFA a Messi, Ronaldo e outros serão substituídas por halteres apoiados na cabeça dos jogadores.
Greta Thunberg assumirá o vaping como um exemplo do sacrifício ambiental final.
Os automóveis sem condutor tornar-se-ão tão inteligentes que vão sequestrá-lo se você não fizer o que eles dizem.
Carne, frango e outros produtos de carne tornar-se-ão digitais. Eles serão criados in vitro e falarão consigo a partir do prato.
A cidade de Toronto irá clonar John Tory para que, assim, a construção de ciclovias e aumento das taxas possam acontecer mais rápido.
As paredes dos edifícios em cidades como Toronto serão usadas para plantar vegetais e assim elimina-se a necessidade de termos jardins no chão.

Estas previsões são minhas e ninguém mais pode usá-las.

Crystal Ball – 2020 (in English)

As the New Year begins, there is a tendency for us to look at the world anew with the hope of better things to come. I consulted the crystal ball to ascertain that the world would survive 2020 and provide the quality of life that populations hope for. So, here are my predictions for 2020:

The Lusophone community in Canada will embrace the Magellan project and will contribute $ 15 Million dollars for its construction.
Donald Trump will not be impeached and will win the next election.
Peter Mackay will be the next leader of the Federal Progressive Conservative Party and will beat Trudeau in the next Federal election.
Robots will continue to evolve and will replace the protesters in Hong Kong.
To cut down on environmental waste all clothing will be made to be edible.
Elon Musk will invent a long tube to the moon which we will climb to raise money for charity.
Because of Bitcoin and other currencies, everyone will be rich as we won’t need any real money.
Pinto da Costa will be elected the First President of the new country of Mars and will move his soccer team there to become champions again.
The gold balls given by FIFA to Messi, Ronaldo and others will be replaced by a dumbbell supported on the players’ heads.
Greta Thunberg will take up vaping as an example of the ultimate environmental sacrifice.
Driverless cars will become so intelligent that they will kidnap you if you don’t do what they say.
Meat, chicken and other meat products will go digital. They will be created in-vitro and speak to you from the plate.
The city of Toronto will clone John Tory so construction of bike lanes and raising of taxes can happen quicker.
Building walls in cities like Toronto will be used to grow vegetables eliminating the need for ground gardens.
Vladimir Putin will be assassinated, and Trump will die of a broken heart.
The Pope will get married…with a man.
