E assim chegou o Natal. A época do ano em que celebramos o nascimento de Jesus que veio a este mundo para garantir a salvação daqueles que acreditam na palavra de Deus. Claro que a maioria não pode ser salva porque não sabe o significado da palavra, mas todos passarão pelos rituais de celebração habituais que incluem comer e beber, isto misturado com palavras natalícias para garantir que se percebe que estamos numa época de alegria. Esta pandemia mundial revelou as melhores e piores qualidades de cada um de nós. Tem sido um desafio lidar com o sofrimento e mantermo-nos com espírito positivo deveria valer-nos pontos suficientes com Deus que nos durassem uma vida inteira. Mas não vamos ter um pensamento totalmente negativo. Aqueles que abraçaram qualidades humildes, livres de egoísmos, serão melhores pessoas para o resto das suas vidas, já que compreendem que o sacrifício nos torna mais fortes.
Todas as semanas, escrevo no Milénio aquilo a que chamo de editorial. Este é um privilégio, que não está à disposição de muitas pessoas e eu não sei se as minhas palavras são lidas ou compreendidas. Para mim, utilizar este espaço para formular frases com palavras que preenchem a minha mente é uma forma de psicanálise que, se fosse paga a um profissional, teria um custo elevado. É um desafio expressar pensamentos e pontos de vista, respeitando que cada pessoa entende que estas são apenas as minhas palavras e não pretendem instigar ou provocar discussão. Os espelhamentos dos problemas mundiais com algumas frases, muitas vezes, conduzem a direções diferentes que podem não ter impacto em ninguém. Contudo, por mais sem importância que essas palavras possam ser, devem ser expressas. Os pensamentos visionários nem sempre transmitem a realidade, mas apenas um caminho que pode ser seguido. Na MDC Media Group existe uma exploração de pensamentos para que possa ser implementada uma abordagem melhorada que desafie o processo de pensamento. Sem desafiar as normas estabelecidas, é difícil existir mudança e onde quer que o novo caminho nos leve, será baseado na premissa de que o mundo mudou e nós temos de mudar a forma como comunicamos consigo, obviamente respeitando o pensamento objetivo de não aceitar o novo caminho que está a ser adotado. O Novo Ano irá continuar a apresentar-se como um desafio para todos nós, mas se aprendermos com os obstáculos de 2020, o túnel não será tão sombrio.
A um nível pessoal, quero desejar a todos os leitores, anunciantes, empregados e a toda a comunidade em geral, o melhor da época festiva. Celebre aquilo que o mundo é hoje e aquilo que poderá ser amanhã. O ontem já passou e não volta. As memórias são apenas fumaça que atrapalham frequentemente o progresso. Pense naqueles que passam dificuldades porque, muitas vezes, não sabem que são os mais necessitados. O melhor presente no Natal é presente nenhum, a não ser que seja oferecido para fazer o mundo melhor.
A minha gratidão está com aqueles que não gostam de mim, nem me dão valor e que me desejam mal. Irei sempre desafiá-los a não mudar porque o que pensam de mim torna-me mais forte. Num mundo rodeado de inveja e falta de respeito, os visionários e desafiadores irão mudar o mundo. Portanto, o desafio é conseguir manter-se firme e com vontade de ser uma dessas pessoas. Neste Natal, coloque este pensamento debaixo da sua árvore e considere-o como o seu presente para si mesmo.

Tis the season to give thanks
And so here is Christmas. The time of year to celebrate the birth of Jesus who came to this world to provide salvation to those who believe in the word of God. Most of course cannot be saved because they don’t know what the Word is supposed to be but all will go through the usual rituals of celebratory traditions which include glutinous eating and drinking mixed with some chrismacy words to ensure all understand that you are in the jolly season. This world pandemic has brought the best and the worst qualities in all of us. Suffering through it has been a challenge and staying positive should earn enough points with our God to last us a lifetime. But let’s not be totally negative. Those who have embraced qualities devoid of selfishness and cradle humbleness’s will be better people for the rest of their lives for they understand that sacrifice makes us stronger.
Each week I write what I call an editorial in Milénio Stadium. This is a privilege that is not afforded to many people and I don’t really know if my words are read or understood. For me using this space to formulate phrases from words that fill my head is a form of psychoanalysis that if paid to a professional would cost me a lot of money. Expressing thoughts and views respecting that each person understands that they are only my words and not meant to challenge or provide discourse is a challenge. The mirroring of the worlds problems with a few phrases often takes different directions which may have no impact on anyone. However unimportant the words must be expressed. Visionary thoughts do not always convey reality but merely a path of what they can be. At MDC Media Group there is an exploration of thoughts so that an improved approach can implemented to further challenge the thought process. Without challenging established norms change is difficult and wherever the new path takes us it is based on the premise that the world has changed and we have to change the way we communicate with you obviously respecting your objective thinking not to accept the new path being adopted. The New Year will continue to be a challenge for all of us but if we learn from the obstacles of 2020, the tunnel won’t be so dark.
On a personal level, I want to wish our readers, advertisers, employees and the community in general the best of the holidays. Celebrate what the world is today and what it may be tomorrow. Yesterday is gone and it’s not coming back. Memories are merely smoke that often stands in the way of progress. Think of those in need and help them if you can and also think of those who don’t need help because often they don’t know that they are the neediest. The best present at Christmas is no present at all, unless it’s given to make the world better.
My gratitude goes to those who do not like or appreciate me and who wish me bad will. I will always challenge you to not change because your understanding of me makes me stronger. In a world filled with jealousies, and lack of respect, visionaries and intractable people will change the world. The challenge is therefore; can you be steadfast and will-full to be one of these people. This Christmas put that thought under the tree and make it a gift to yourself.
